If students like to make a suggestion about the date or the time of a tutorial session, they need to contact David a few weeks in advance so the changes could be made if it is possible.

Physics 1020 mid-term exam tutorial session

The sessions with less than 20 students will be cancelled.
If you are coming to a tutorial session please contact David by the phone or by the e-mail a few days in advance of the tutorial sessions.

Booklet:
general info, specific info, booklet's first page (mid-term) (final). I don't make the booklets in advance of the tutorial sessions. The booklets are made step by step based on the course progress so they are ready only on the day of tutorial session. This way I make sure the booklets are complete and useful to students. If you can not attend a tutorial session you can buy a copy of the booklet for that session on the day of the session or afterward.
What to bring? Bring the past mid-term exams (your lab manual)
Do I need to sign up?
Yes, to make sure that I have enough booklets for everybody on the day of the session.
What is involved?

i-I will go over questions from the 2 past mid-term exams (time permitted) and the questions asked by the students. The past mid-term exams for this course are on the Physics 1020 web site and also in your lab manual, so make sure you practice on them before and after the tutorial sessions.
ii-All calculation questions will be done during the tutorial sessions and they are not included in the tutorial booklet.
iii-I will write down the answers on an overhead projection so the students can see the answers.
iv-Complete set of notes for the tutorial session will be provided. They are hand written and they are based on your course outline and your text book.
v-All the materials, information and quizzes for this course are on the Physics 1020 web site.
vi-I don't have access to some of these materials so if you have any question about them, you need to send me the materials in the PDF file or MS words format by the e-mail before the tutorial session so I can go over them during the tutorial session.
vii-Some of the questions from the term quizzes will be on your mid-term exam or final exam so make sure you know how to do these questions.
