A-Phone Calls
1-I do not offer any tutoring help for any materials over the phone and there is no exception to this rule so please don't ask for it.
I have many research and teaching responsibilities and also I am working with many students at different locations so it is impractical for me to spend any time on the phone tutoring the students.
Please ask all of your questions during the group tutorial session before the session ends.
If you have any subject matter question that you need an answer to it, you can send it to me before the group tutorial sessions by the e-mail (PDF file or word doc.). I will go over the questions during the group tutorial sessions.
2-You can call David anytime between 9:00 AM-10:00 PM central standard time any day of the week.
3-I will try to answer all calls when I have free time and if I don't answer the phone that means I am busy with another student, conducting a tutoring session or doing other daily stuff (yes it may be surprise to many people but I have a life beside teaching and tutoring).
4-If there is no answer please leave your name, a brief message, a contact phone number and the best time to call you back. (Make sure you repeat your name and your phone number a couple of times and slowly.
These days with the increase usage of the cell phones we all know about the drop calls, bad connections and static especially if you are in the basement or lower floors of a location)
5-If you leave a phone message with your contact phone number included I will try to call you back ASAP.
6-If you didn't get a call back from me in 24 hours please try to call back again or send me an e-mail (that means I didn't get your phone message, your phone number wasn't clear, you left a wrong phone number or you forgot to leave a contact phone number)
7-When I return a student's call I will always leave a message on the voice mail or with the person who answers the phone.
Please let your parents, your brothers or sisters, your wife or husband, your roommate, your boyfriend or girlfriend or whoever you share the phone with know that you are expecting a call back from me. This way I am assured the message will pass on to the right person.
